i tink im really rather bored recently -- to the extent of reading sec sch lit texts.. haha ive left them on the shelf to rot for the past years cuz i was dead sick of them after mugging them for exams.. but dunno y juz took some of them out t0 read..

i started w/ things fall apart by chinua achebe-- n i ended up being quite sad at the ruthlessness of the 'white men' when they dealed with the 'lower niger'.. sigh.. y cant different religions n cultures live in harmony? like how it was when mr brown was in charge of the church.. the church practised their faith n so does the indigenious grps.. n there were no conflicts cuz they jing shui bu fan he shui.. the prob comes when one thinks that one is more superior than the others -- and force their ideals on ppl who r reluctant.. so to those who like to go ard 'sharing their faith' ( quoted fr this catholic guy who knocked on my door early on a sun morn, and talked to me for a long time abt God being the creator for all mankine. his classic quote: we're not preaching; we're juz sharing our faith) pls la.. choose to tok to those who wanna listen ie nt me..

den nxt i read importance of being earnest.. oh my now that u start reading it as entertainment i realised how stupidly frivolous it is.. lol.. i was rolling n rolling my eyes by the time i reached the last line when jack/ernest said 'i've finally realised The Importance of Being Earnest.' oh well.. but ri you suo si ye you suo meng.. i dreamt abt how there was tis secret in my family tat everyone but me know -- tat i was actually abandoned when i was born n my family was actually my foster family.. n i rmb tat i needed to tok thru it w/ some1 n smsed yx (oh well subconscious cant b controlled) and was desperate to tell it to simone n sharon when i went out w. them in my dream.. haha it was so real that when i was in my semi asleep state, i was tinking that this cant be true cuz mygrandparents really v teng wo etc etc.. crazed rite? haha feel like i m leading a double life in my dreams..

n now i've juz finished animal farm.. cant help but recognize all the nuances and references to the USSR.. it's like how i was watching pao ba hai zi.. i cant help but recognize all the spore-msia conflicts which are hinted at in the movie.. dotz.. too much lit training mayb?

n finally im going to watch a movie later.. w/ melissa.. and it's the maid.. haha probably tis is my 2nd horror flick watched in the cinema - the 1st was juon w/ jia han n yu hsin.. hope it'll b good since some film company (i tink it's the one owned by brad pitt) wanna do a remake.. but.. do they haf maids in this sense in the US? oh well i'll find it out soon enough i guess :) only 17 days left -- n ive got my rice cooker but nt the luggage.. how screwed is tat?
