im w/o internet access!!! tis is stupid.. the internet is down n affected half e campus.. n unfortunately im in the half.. all the other singaporeans but richard n me are unaffected (ok wad kind of passive sentence is tis?) so now i braved the cold w/ richard to come to the lib to use comp..

ok updates for the past few days--other than i love math--had a great dinner thanks to richard (huang di ji!!) on fri n went to watch bronte.. its a play abt e bronte sisters (in case u dunno they wrote wuthering heights and jane eyre).. its gd la for $6.50 2nd row seats.. i ended up wondering abt my life wrt charlotte bronte's.. she wanted so much to fly n succeed, and ended up being unhappy and giving so much pressure those ard her who cud... and den she got married n ended up being v v happy.. haha mayb sometimes jian dan jiu shi fu..

n today i went birmingham.. n got my uk line -- finally.. i bought pay as u go.. n do u noe tat a sim card (w.o any credit) costs 10 pounds?!!! tink i shdnt b changing to contract anytime soon to use back the 10 pounds.. grr.. was initially tinking of juz using pay as u go n c how much i spend here.. den if i spend alot i'll change to contract (anw cant get contract cuz my bank acct nt up yet) but ya.. 10 pounds leh!!! but it's free incoming.. so ppl fr spore u guys can call me!! tho it'll cost like 60 cents per min to call using singtel's world card.. mayb use sth else? i'll post my no up on msn when i can use my comp...

anw.. took some pics of birmingham.. shall post up w/ e oxford pics as n when my comp is up n running.. so sad lor.. so many days le still w.o connection..

tml shall watch football again!! hope tis time it will b better n some one will score haha.. liverpool vs chelsea..

temp here is v eccentric.. hah it was cloudy yest but v v warm.. today it's super duper cold.. tink shall go home drink warm water n sleeeepp... headache fr e cold n rain... but then again.. i'll b watching hana n alice-- tis nice jap show tat samantha lent me.. sweet sweet show abt 2 gals.. i like tis kind of gan gan jing jing shows.. den juz a soothing motif playing thru e movie.

speaking of motif.. at birmingham there was tis free jazz band playing at one of the concert halls.. n den i started getting v inspired and wanted to play e piano again.. *lucky the guitar accompaniment is soft else i'll wan play guitar too haha* the music's quite gd lor. tho i thought there was some parts esp at the start of the songs where the pianist n saxaphonist (is there such a word?) cant really coordinate.. so tempo a bit off.. but over all its gd gd.. haha...

there's oso free museums etc ard.. think we muz haf spent like 1/2h roaming one of them.. there's tis 3D pic that changes as u move.. it's like 3 corridoors and as u move fr left to right the scene changes etc. but it's a bit funny going to the 'made in china' part of the exhibition.. and c thgs like tao qi and jade

anw.. as i was typing juz now.. tis nigeria guy fr opp me came up n ask me how i learnt to type so fast.. n den he started asking abt wad i m doing blah blah.. n he tot i was masters or post grad student.. n had tis look of disbelief when i told him im undergrad in 1st yr.. dotz.. blah blah n he wanted to treat me to drink n ask me go nigeria n show me rd (n i tink of things fall apart by chinua achebe *opps).. finally ya he said he wanted to get back to doing his work n ended e conversation by asking me where the toilet is.. dot dot dot.. im sorry simone.. tis is nt a tall handsome prince william type of ang moh guy.. haha so wun get his contact for u la.. lolz
