HAPPY (BELATED) CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

yikes another week without blogging again..

every night (or almost every night) i'll go dikir barat fr 9-11..

n on wed anh had back pain after dikir -- so bad that she cant move. and then i went with her to hospital with this malaysian senior who has a car.. and found out how sucky national health system is. we reached coventry hospital and realised the A&E has shifted to walsgrave hospital. not knowing how to get there, the senior called 112 (some emergency helpline). and we waited n waited in the car for the stupid ambulance.. they took at least 1/2h lor.. so imagine being tired n in the car and cold n waiting for the ambulance, and trying to talk to both anh and the malaysian senior (who i dunno at all)..

and when the ambulance came, they juz said they'll gif us directions on how to go to walsgrave hospital (?!!!) and tried so hard to convince the senior that 'the suspension in your car is much better than that of the ambulance. trust me i know.' DOTZ!!! n so we went to the hospital.. with minature signs leading the way.. anw.. anh back is such that she is most comfortable nt bending her back.. ie she can either stand or lie down.. so when we finally reached the hospital we asked for a stretcher.. n the ans was 'no we do not provide stretchers. look around there is no place to put it. it'll juz be a fire hazard and we cant allow that' DOUBLE DOTZ!!!

and then waited n waited.. she was diagnosed juz by asking qns.. n taking some painkillers.. and the doc (who is v v nice) concluded that she had inflammation of the muscles.. gave her some anti inflammation pills and painkillers.. n thats all.. n by then it was near 2am.. sent anh back to her room.. and move her bed down to the floor (which is sagging cuz the bed frame is made of springs).. and chit chat a bit b4 heading back.. dead tired n hungry so made food etc.. think i slept at 4 or sth.. totally exhausted n ponned 2 lect the next day :(

n in the course of the wk i fell sick oso.. juz blocked/runny nose but no obvious fever etc.. :D

n the nxt exciting day was on sat! went to cardiff..ok la.. it wasnt that great. was super duper cold tho..!! i was wearing 4 layers n shivering.. went to see millenium stadium.. nth really much there.. haha spent most of the time shopping tho.. found prez n bought a puma jacket for 12 pounds (wun spend 36 sing on this but the original price was 40 pounds.. got 70% off! n u noe how i cant resist offers )

n den came back for steamboat dinner... my inductor cooker so BU ZHEN QI!!! i managed to cook soup 2x with it.. but who knows tis time.. i juz started it up.. it started boiling the soup n the ingredients.. n den suddenly there's a pssstt and the whole thg died!! n cudnt restart!!1 :( probably short circuit or sth.. but dunno why or how.. n chuan xin gotta run back to get his rice cooker to cook food in.. so sad.. ;(

n dinner was supposed to start at 930..so we can eat etc comfortably b4 we countdown.. but our tuan yuan fan became kai nian fan.. but cuz of my inductor cooker we started v late.. ate and countdown n continued eating.. lolz.. n den janice n edwin came.. we had drinks n played card games.. heart attack, dai di, blackjack :D all the way till like 3am.. !!

back to my room bathe wash up n called home.. n den zzzz till 730 to go london.. severe lack of sleep man!!!

london was super crowded.. really wow!! so many ppl.. met mei xue while going down the tube station.. n it's damn ex 'profiteering businessmen'.. haha but oh well.. managed to c lion dance.. n met up with ninghan and a fren.. n den lh n flora joined my frens for ktv.. :D haha was playing all sorts of games with him.. cai quan and dice. haha he lost quite badly tho ;) i had a losing streak in dice after beating him straight for like 5 rounds. :D oh well too bad he hadta leave for dinner appt early b4 the ktv was over..

n then we walked rd london's chinese groceries stall for a while b4 heading back.. n reaching sch at like 11pm..

n i hadnt done all work over the wkend..wanted so much to do it now.. but i took a 1.75h nap (cant tahan la.. kept dozing off in class. in fact i m dozing off all day long..) and then after i woke i was feeling rather sick.. like ruan ruan like tat.. so decided to blog b4 doing work (got quiz on wed -_-).. oh well.. shall b hardworking n start..
